Deception over the Fiscal Pact – No more confidence in the Europe rescue policy

The national budgets which have been passed in recent years in the Bundestag by the majority of members have all been fiddled and do not comply with the Fiscal Pact.
Introduced under the auspices of the Federal Government, the Fiscal Pact states that all Euro countries must make savings. But neither supported nor supporting countries can save any more. Even Germany is bankrupt, and can only manage its budget with the aid of loans. Germany is thereby delaying national bankruptcy and burdening the taxpayer with all the associated costs, together with all the costs incurred for those countries in need of support. Apart from the fact that it is not countries which are being supported, but their banks.

If the Germans had been informed from the very beginning what they were paying their taxes for (as liability for rescue packages), the Euro debt union would have collapsed long ago. There was hardly any other option than not to tell them that no budget of any Euro country could be balanced any longer, and could not fulfil the conditions of the Maastricht treaties. A new instrument had to be found; new regulations had to be laid down – the Fiscal Pact.
The worst thing is that in the meantime, no budget even complies any longer with the Fiscal Pact. The budgets are maintained by rescue packages, liabilities and guarantees – the citizen pays for this with his share of taxes and pensions, and is kept in the dark. This was already happening in times when the Maastricht Treaty was binding, and it is happening again even though the Fiscal Pact is also supposed to be binding.
In this way, German governments have repeatedly damaged democracy – democracy and the citizens. Since the Maastricht Treaty is one of those treaties about which German governments have in any event published little information, in order to allow the process of the introduction of the Euro to go ahead without resistance from the peoples of Europe, Angela Merkel agitated strenuously in favour of the Fiscal Pact. In fact, she must have known that this treaty can also make no contribution towards rescuing the Euro. The confidence that Merkel and Co. thereby hoped to achieve is based on lies; the concoction of the Fiscal Pact is just as much of a sham as the complete Euro rescue, which in any case should never have been allowed to happen.

In principle the Fiscal Pact constitutes a huge fraud, which the governments of Europe committed in the knowledge that the rescue of the Euro could never be successful, and the costs of the continuing and misdirected rescue policy would have to fall on the shoulders of the citizens.
All this was jointly contrived by the Merkel government, and implemented behind the backs of the Germans and all other European peoples. The stability of the Euro feigned by the Merkel government is also a lie. It was never a question of stability. It was a matter, as disclosed by the official press, of supporting the national budgets and banks of the bankrupt countries. This was intended to demonstrate that solidarity within the EU really exists. In the same way, the pretence was put forward to the people that stability criteria which had been agreed under the Maastricht Treaty can be met. The Maastricht treaties could not however be observed at all, because the supporting countries were also bankrupt. This information in particular was hushed up by the press.
These countries were: Germany, France, Spain, Italy and Finland.
In order to continue to maintain the Euro, these countries set aside the liabilities for rescue packages from their national budgets. The overall debt limit was consequently exceeded; France and Spain however were in a worse position, because they were also struggling with increasing new debt. The Maastricht Treaty could no longer be fulfilled.
These countries obscured this own goal behind Fiscal Pact regulations, and furthermore accepted financial aid, in the form of rescue packages, so that they could continue presenting themselves as supporting countries.

The Stability Pact of Maastricht was real – the Fiscal Pact was from the very beginning a lie, because bankrupt countries should not be allowed to lend support to other bankrupt countries on the backs of their citizens by means of such things as tax payments and unofficial pension reductions.
The so-called supporting countries were aware from the start that from a certain point in time, they would no longer be able to adhere to the limits of the Maastricht Treaty, namely at the time when most of the Euro countries went bankrupt. Angela Merkel must therefore have put forward corresponding decision proposals, and the Maastricht Treaty was circumvented. At the same time, Merkel must have known that the resulting deficits would have to be paid for by the citizens – corresponding draft laws and agreements with the governments of the other so-called supporting countries followed.
This deception of the people is the responsibility of Angela Merkel and her Cabinet, and the German Bundestag has done nothing other than to jump onto the band-wagon in the belief of being able to rescue the Euro and its stability. At least 500 popular representatives were blind enough to fall into this very elegant trap, which snapped shut as soon as the Fiscal Pact was ratified by the German Bundestag. Popular representatives were deceived just as much as the people, and indeed all European peoples.

The fact that politicians lie is already bad enough, but that they knowingly conceal facts in order to pursue actually unfeasible objectives, and thereby endanger politics, democracy, the rule of law and their own citizens is unforgiveable, and really a matter for criminal prosecution. Added to this is when senior representatives of the people are responsible for this plight, and the actual representatives of the people, the Parliament, fails so miserably because of wrangling over party manoeuvres, and pass “on the nod” whatever is prescribed by the party line.
When it then becomes known, as the Chairman of the Legal Committee of the German Bundestag Siegfried Kauder, CDU, described the situation, that such proceedings often take place without the knowledge of the members, and the President of the Federal Constitutional Court even sees a legal problem (Stern No. 33, 2012) in the fact that the members of the Bundestag vote in ignorance, and are therefore not in a position to make the independent decisions of conscience to which they are obliged, then there can be no further talk of popular representation, and no further talk of trust and confidence, either in the Federal Government or in the parliamentarians.
622 representatives financed by the people are therefore not in a position to make decisions which represent the people. This can only mean that Germany finds itself on a slippery slope, which will end in state control, disenfranchisement and rip-off of citizens. The social state, the legitimate state and popular representation will then be things of the past. And it is quite justified to fear a Europe which is created under these circumstances and with these requirements.

Whoever still believes that Angela Merkel will stick to her election promises and do something for the benefit of Germany is just as mistaken as all those who in 1945 still believed in the promised “wonder weapons”. These wonder weapons were just as unreal as the salvation from a bureaucratic Europe which is created on the backs of the citizens of Europe, who have no say or participation in the matter.
To this end, laws have been bent, laws have been broken. To this end, politicians have lied to the people and misled them. Whoever now still believes that politics acts beneficially, and re-elects Angela Merkel, because she is already doing everything right, as repeatedly conformed by surveys, is beyond all help; we therefore ask everyone else to regard the 2013 election as a decision of conscience, which will affect our children and our children’s children. Whoever votes for Angela Merkel is voting for ruin.
